What the tools do
Each calculator answers a specific question using values entered by the visitor. Calculations run in the browser and update as the inputs change. The tools do not require a name, school, student number, transcript, or account.
How results are produced
The calculators use stated formulas and common US grading conventions. Schools and courses can use different weights, grade points, cutoffs, rounding, repeat rules, and extra-credit policies. Use the method in the course syllabus and treat the official school result as final.
How Grade Signal is built
The site favors fast pages, clear inputs, accessible controls, and distinct tools rather than repeated pages with changed labels. New calculators will be added only when they solve a separate grading problem.
